Is permanent makeup a tattoo?2020-05-29T21:04:20-07:00

Yes, permanent makeup is a tattoo It is the art and science of implanting pigment through the epidermal layer of the skin into the upper dermal layer of the skin. The epidermis is the outer layer of skin that is visible to all and is constantly shedding and renewing itself. Due to the fact that the pigment was placed into the epidermis and the upper dermal layer, the color I have chosen for you will appear a bit darker than the healed and final result. When the color in the epidermis sheds you will see a lighter softer version of the pigment through a thin veil of healed epidermal skin.

Is it safe?2023-11-10T10:37:34-08:00

Yes, if your technician/artist is following proper guidelines. It is your responsibility to do your homework and ask questions. The same strict sanitation and sterilization guidelines followed by Doctors and Hospitals are followed by myself and are in accordance with The Southern Nevada Health District. This includes; brand new single-use sterile needles which are properly disposed of after each client, all machine parts are disposable, gloves are new and clean for each client and changed during the procedure as needed, a new and clean disposable apron is worn by myself and disposed of after each client, as well as many other precautions to ensure my clients’ safety as well as my own. The possibility that you would have any allergies, reactions, or complications from these procedures or pigments is extremely rare, almost non-existent, especially with today’s health standard. It is important for you to follow all of the aftercare instructions.

Yes. I am licensed/permitted with the Clark County Department of Environmental Health. My room is also approved and permitted by the Clark County Department of Environmental Health and am registered as a Body Art Practitioner as well as having my Bloodborne pathogen certification. I am subject to unannounced inspections by our local health inspector.

How long will my Brows last?2020-05-29T21:02:47-07:00

Permanent makeup will last years for some and others will need to refresh their color annually. Permanent makeup will last longer for some and not as long for others due most importantly to lifestyle, health, and skin type. Some contributing factors that will accelerate fading: sun exposure, using products that promote cell regeneration (Retin-A, Renova, Glycolics, and Alpha Hydroxy Acids), extra oily skin which regenerates more rapidly, unhealthy skin, medications, and smoking.

Who would benefit from permanent makeup?

• An active lifestyle
• Visual impairment
• Little or no brow hair
• Alopecia (absence of hair)
• Difficulty in makeup application
• Unsteady or arthritic hands
• Allergies to conventional cosmetics

What will I look like immediately following my procedure?2020-05-29T21:00:50-07:00

Your procedure will appear much darker the day it is done. This darker color will remain for approximately 3-5 days while the wetting solutions that were mixed with the pigment are being absorbed leaving behind the pigment in its dry form.

Blonde, thin eyebrows are hereditary in my family. I used to spend 10 minutes every morning, drawing on my eyebrows. By the end of the day, they were virtually non existent, because of the Vegas heat. I no longer have this problem, thanks to Tracy! My new brows are perfect and very natural looking!
